MICHELLE: Private Pottery Workshop - Mon 6th July

2 HOUR WORKSHOP:

Hi Michelle,

In this two hour workshop, from 2pm to 4pm, you and your group will  be introduced to the wonderful world of clay. Learn valuable skills and techniques to hand craft and decorate a bowl using the slab building technique.

You will be guided by Jasmine, who is a qualified Visual Arts teacher, with 30 years experience working with clay. Hand cut and make your bowl made from Australian stoneware clay. Your beautiful bowl will be dishwasher, oven and microwave safe.

Additionally, Jasmine will guide you on how to decorate your bowl using Coastal Studio Ceramics unique and high quality ceramic underglaze transfers. Jasmine will glaze everyone's bowl in a clear, glossy, food safe glaze.

  • All tools, an apron, clay, decorating materials, and firings in an electric kiln are inclusive.
  • There are a variety of underglaze transfer designs you can choose from on the day.
  • Your pieces will be ready to collect 3-4 weeks after your workshop date.
  • If you are unable to collect your bowls, you can arrange shipping at an extra cost. Discuss with Jasmine on the day of the workshop.
