Jasmine Hayes is the founder, designer & maker for Coastal Studio Ceramics. She works from her solar powered studio, located behind Cooloola National Park, next to Lake Cootharaba (Kabi Kabi Country), Australia.

Jasmine carefully creates each piece by hand or throws on her pottery wheel. She only uses the finest Australian clays & lead free glazes. Jasmine's tableware, drinkware, hand basins & wall hangings are ethically made in small batches so she can focus on quality. Jasmine does not believe in mass production, therefore everything is made by her hands only.

You are always guaranteed a high quality & unique piece of art.

Jasmine's work is always evolving, capturing the textures, colours & organic shapes nature creates and interprets them in her work. She especially loves to work with porcelain or stoneware clays. Jasmine also makes functional tableware with many pieces appearing in local restaurants like Rock Salt in Noosa and Embassy XO in Sunshine Beach.

Jasmine's unique and original underglaze transfers were created to provide potters with high quality and detailed decorating options that are vibrant and have personality! They are extremely popular and sold worldwide!

Jasmine is a qualified Visual Arts teacher,  inspiring students from Years 7-12. She is the head of the Visual Arts department.

Jasmine knows and understands different learning styles. She designs workshops that are ideal for all ability levels, especially beginners. Jasmine holds regular pottery workshops and classes in her home studio, specialising in hand building.

Private workshops and sessions are offered by request.
