Hen's Gathering: Ceramic Bowl - Pottery Workshop Sunshine Coast

HEN'S PARTY BOWL MAKING WORKSHOP:

Join Jasmine in this two hour workshop where she will introduce you to the wonderful world of clay. Learn valuable skills and techniques to hand craft and decorate your very own ceramic bowl using the slab building techniuqe. 

 

In this fun pottery workshop, you will be guided by Jasmine who is a qualified Visual Arts teacher, with 30 years experience working with clay. Shape and make a large bowl (18-20cm) made from white Australian stoneware clay. Your beautiful bowl will be dishwasher, oven and microwave safe.

 

Jasmine will guide you on how to decorate your bowl using Coastal Studio Ceramics unique and high quality ceramic underglaze transfers. Jasmine will glaze your bowl in a clear, glossy, food safe glaze.

 

What's included? All tools, an apron, clay, decorating materials, and two firings in an electric kiln are inclusive. There are a variety of underglaze transfer designs you can choose from on the day.

 

Your ceramic bowl will be ready to collect 3-4 weeks after your workshop. If you are unable to collect your bowl, you can arrange shipping of your ceramic bowl at an extra cost.

 

  • Please wear enclosed shoes on the day. 
  • Apron provided. 
  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop, as we will start at 11:30am sharp.

    PLEASE NOTE: If you have booked a spot and can no longer attend on the day, you are welcome to sell your spot. Sorry, no refunds.
